Educational Objectives

1. Basic level

This course is for beginners learning Korean language for the first time. Students will begin by learning the vowels and consonants of Hangul, the Korean alphabet and move onto simple Korean sentences. By the end of the semester, students will be able to use Korean in everyday situations.

2. Intermediate Level

The aim of the course is to enable students to navigate the essentials of Korean life, such as greeting others, going to the market, making phone calls, going to the bank, and more. This allows the student to integrate more into society.

3. Advanced Level

• · This high-level program advances students’ knowledge of Korean through writing and discussion.
• · Students will be able to discuss advanced topics such as politics and the economy through writing. The aim of the course is to foster intellectual capacity through Korean language ability.
