전문적인 행정이론과 행정실무에 관한 폭넓은 교육을 통하여 창의적이고 능력있는 행정인을 양성한다

학과교육목표

1. 세계화·정보화·지역화로의 행정환경 변화에 능동적으로 대응하고 국가와 지역사회 발전에 헌신하는 적극적이고 봉사정신이 투철한 행정인을 양성한다.
2. 제반 행정이론과 실기를 바탕으로 행정현상에 대한 체계적인 이해와 심도있는 연구를 통해 다양한 행정문제에 대하여 정책대안을 제시할 수 있는 창의적이고 실용적인 행정인을 양성한다.
3. 최신 행정이론과 풍부한 행정사례에 기초하여 행정문제에 대한 심층적 연구를 촉진하여 행정학자로서의 기본적 자질과 능력을 함양케 함으로써 전문 행정학자를 배양한다.

1. Nurture active, service-minded administrators who are dedicated to the development of the country and local communities, to actively respond to changes in the administrative environment due to globalization, informatization, and localization.
2. Foster creative and practical administrators who have capabilities to suggest policy alternatives for various administrative issues through systematic understanding and in-depth research on administrative phenomena based on various administrative theories and practical skills,
3. Cultivate professional administrative scholars who have achieved basic qualifications and abilities of administrative capacities, based on the latest administrative theories and abundant administrative cases and in-depth research on administrative issues in practices.

학과소개

행정학과는 세계화, 지방화, 정보화 시대를 맞이하여 효율적이고 창의적인 정책분석 능력, 기획관리 능력, 합리적인 문제해결 능력, 변화에 대한 능동적 대응능력, 그리고 견실한 업무 수행능력을 지닌 전문행정인과 지적 창의성과 연구 수행능력을 겸비한 행정학도의 양성을 목표로 한다. 따라서 중앙 및 지방행정기관 뿐만 아니라 학계나 기업체에서 요구하는 조사방법론, 인사 및 조직이론, 정책이론, 도시 및 지방행정론, 정부혁신론, 경영행정론 등 다양하고 전문화된 교육과정을 운영하고 있어 공무원, 지방의회의원, 기업체 임직원의 재교육과 행정학을 심층 연구하고자 하는 행정학도에게 매우 적합한 학과이다.

The Department educates administrators with the spirit of service who can adapt to actively to environmental changes characterized as globalization, information and communications, and regionalization, and contribute to the development of our nation and society.The Department cultivates and creative and practical administrators who can suggest the policy alternatives to a variety of administrative problems on the basis of a systematic understanding of complicated administrative phenomena and knowledge of public administration theories.The Department of Public Administration has a purpose to cultivate and educate the person who has a capability of effective and creative policy analysis, planning management, rational problem solving, active responding to changing situation, and job implementation in order to prepare a world characterized by glottalization, and internalization.Our department has provided with a variety of specialized curricula and field research courses which are required by government institutions and private firms such as theory of research and analysis methodology, recruitment and organization, public policy, city and local government administration, government Innovation, entrepreneurial public administration that enable to reeducate officers of local government, private firm, and members of local Assembly.

• 1) 선수과목은 학부에 개설된 과목 중 선택하도록 한다. 단, 이 경우 주임교수와 사전 협의한다.
• 2) 종합시험: 학생이 이수한 과목 석사 2과목, 박사 3과목에 응시한다.
  - 석사과정 일반전공과목 : 행정학개론, 정책학개론, 조직론, 지방자치론
  - 박사과정 일반전공과목 : 고급행정이론, 고급정책이론, 조직구조연구, 지방자치연구
• 3) 논문계획 발표는 교내교수로 구성된 심사위원 앞에서 공개적으로 실시하고 심사결과를 대학원에 보고한다.

지방화 추세에 발맞추어 지방행정의 중요성을 인식하고 지방행정에 대한 이해를 보다 더 명확히 이해하기 위해 지방행정 고유의 특질, 실제로 주민에게 이익을 제공하는 행정, 지방행정기구, 제도, 인사, 재정, 정책에 대해 연구 한다.

PUAD6602 정책학개론(Introduction to Public Policy)

정책학의 등장배경과 파라다임, 기초이론 등을 비롯하여 바람직한 정책의 형성과 성공적인 정책집행, 타당한 정책평가를 위한 기초지식을 배운다.

PUAD6603 조직론(Organization Theories)

행정조직에 대한 연구를 통해 행정에 보다 실제적으로 접근해 볼 수 있다. 이에 교육내용으로는 행정조직의 개념적 기초, 조직관리의 내용, 조직과 환경, 조직내의 개인행동과 동기, 조직의 변동과 발전, 특히 지방행정조직의 구조와 관리체계, 운영 등을 다룬다.
